It's Ben's birthday...
Me... being a girlfriend and a fiance...  i don't think i'd made it special enough for him
I didn't get the cake that suits him...  it was my fault...
but luckily it was very yummy and he liked it too so it was a huge relief




Ben took me flying at noon for about an hour~
We're doing a Auckland City scenic tour ^^
Flying... plays a major part in my work and life
it should have been a piece of cake right? lol
well not this time... i was pretty nervous!!
not because it was such a small aircraft......
not because i don't trust Ben's skills...........
i think part of it was excitement!!  at the same time i got to see and experience what Ben has to go through everytime he went up flying
it was very nerve racking for him... he not only the pilot in command... as well as navigating where to go
make radio callings... be at the lookout and aware of whereabouts other aircrafts are in the area
its all mentally and physically challenging
now i truely understood him.....
"3 hours of flying equals 6 hours of driving a car"

it looked soooo big when we're on the ground...
but so flat... from above...
heh... i felt like i'm the queen of the sky!!  (-_-") yipee~~~~~




Yay we're at the city now... from papakura to city by car normally takes 30minutes minimum
it took us like... 10minutes? lol
the city with Harbour Bridge and northshores


 

Hi hi City!!  it's actually very different from up here....
Ben managed to circled town 3 times given me enough time to have a good look!!
i saw Albert Park too.......... where all the trees were...... 
can you spot Skycity..?




I do recommend this kind of experience~
of cos... i can only do it cos of Ben... all the bills goes to his account....
but this absolutely made the occassion super special~
i can't wait for him to get his night rating so we can go see auckland city @ night time!!
